Eri stated that this is to ensure that the\ncitizens of the City of Heroes can maintain tolerance and mutual respect\namong religious communities, given that the Nyepi Day 2026 and Idulfitri\n1446 Hijriah holidays will occur close together. \u201cTherefore, I also hope\nthat when there is takbir, at certain points where there are Surabaya\nresidents of Hindu faith, I kindly request, like in Kenjeran, that those\nconducting takbir do not go around near the temples,\u201d Eri said on\nWednesday (19\/3). Furthermore, Eri asked mosque or musala managers whose\nlocations are near temples not to use external loudspeakers when\nproclaiming takbir. This is intended to avoid disturbing the silence\nthat is a key part of Nyepi worship. \u201cIf it is near a temple, please do\nnot use loudspeakers (external).
