        "content": "<p>Supriati leads RI's charges<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Women's middle-distance runner Supriati Sutono<br>\nwill lead a six-strong Indonesian team to the Nike 60th Singapore<br>\nOpen Track and Field Championships on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Amateur Athletics Association's head of the<br>\ntechnical committee, Pieter Noya, said yesterday the event would<br>\nserve as a last trial before naming athletes for the 13th Asian<br>\nGames.<\/p>\n<p>Triple Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Supriati is<br>\nexpected to improve her records in 1,500 and 5,000 meters.<\/p>\n<p>Included on the roster are Supiati and Irene Yoseph who will<br>\nrun in the women's 100m and 200m respectively, men's sprinter<br>\nMahmud, women's triple jumper Nyoman Rai and Wisnu Nugroho who<br>\nwill compete in both the men's triple jump and long jump.<\/p>\n<p>The country's best women's long-distance runner Ruwiyati will<br>\nnot be attending the tryout because the event does not feature<br>\nmarathon or 10,000m.
