        "content": "<p>Indonesia\u2019s Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs\n(Menkomdigi), Meutya Hafid, emphasised the importance of digital\nliteracy, technology ethics, and collaboration among all stakeholders in\nrealising a safe digital space for the younger generation, in line with\nGovernment Regulation Number 17 of 2025 on the Governance of Electronic\nSystem Operators in Child Protection (PP TUNAS).<\/p>\n<p>This was conveyed by Meutya Hafid while attending the Open Senate\nGraduation Session of Telkom University for Period II of the 2025\/2026\nAcademic Year, held at the Telkom University Convention Hall in Bandung\non Saturday (25\/4). The Minister\u2019s presence was accompanied by the\nPresident Director of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), Dian\nSiswarini, and the Director of Wholesale &amp; International Service at\nTelkom, Budi Satria Dharma Purba, who were welcomed by the Rector of\nTelkom University, Prof.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Suyanto, along with his staff.<\/p>\n<p>This graduation moment is seen as a strategic point to strengthen\nleadership values, digital ethics, and readiness to face industry\nchallenges. Through adaptive, innovative human resources with superior\ndigital literacy, Indonesia is expected to be increasingly prepared to\nachieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.<\/p>\n<p>In her speech, Menkomdigi Meutya Hafid stated that Telkom University\ngraduates, as part of an institution that is the heart of national\ndigital and innovation efforts, are not only equipped with academic\ndegrees but also with a moral responsibility to help navigate\nIndonesia\u2019s digital future. She emphasised that the younger generation\nplays a crucial role in the nation\u2019s sustainability, including\nsupporting the creation of a safe, healthy, and equitable digital space\nas mandated by PP TUNAS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis knowledge equips you not just to follow the flow of\ndigitalisation, but to boldly take steps to play a role as drivers and\nto create value by expanding the benefits of technology and\nstrengthening the nation\u2019s competitiveness, especially in the digital\nfield,\u201d she said, quoted on Tuesday (28\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>She added that the current digital space challenges are not only\nabout accelerating technology but also the increasing misinformation and\nvarious cyber risks. Therefore, the role of the younger generation is\nvery important as agents of digital literacy in society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI must convey that misinformation is not just a local issue, but a\nglobal challenge according to the World Economic Forum 2025. Wherever\nyou are in the future, become guides for digital literacy in your\nrespective areas.
