        "content": "<p>Danantara Indonesia and Tsingshan Group, through the Torang IWIP\nBerbakti Foundation, have donated two solar power plants (PLTS) equipped\nwith Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to the people of Sumenep\nRegency, Madura, East Java.<\/p>\n<p>Danantara Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Rosan Roeslani expressed\nhope that this donation would expand access to reliable and sustainable\nelectricity for communities whilst supporting the Indonesian\ngovernment\u2019s vision of energy self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n<p>He also conveyed appreciation for the collaboration between the\nindustrial sector, government, and communities in supporting the\ndevelopment of renewable energy and energy self-sufficiency in\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe offer our thanks and appreciation to the Torang IWIP Berbakti\nFoundation, Sumenep Regency Government, and PT PLN (Persero), for the\ncollaboration in realising this pilot project,\u201d Rosan stated on Tuesday,\n17 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis initiative is aligned with President Prabowo Subianto\u2019s vision\nto accelerate the pace of the national energy transition,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was realised through cooperation between the Torang\nIWIP Berbakti Foundation, Sumenep Regency Government, and PT PLN\n(Persero), marked by the signing of an agreement on 13 March 2026 at\nWisma Danantara, Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Torang IWIP Berbakti Foundation Chair Wahyu Budhi Santoso conveyed\nthe commitment of Tsingshan Group and the Torang IWIP Berbakti\nFoundation in supporting the Indonesian government\u2019s vision to fulfil\nand equalise energy access for communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that the donation of two solar power plants, each with a\ncapacity of 1 megawatt peak (MWp) equipped with BESS of 4 megawatt hour\n(MWh) capacity each, can provide stable electricity supply to\ncommunities in two villages in Sumenep Regency, Madura.
