Super schools in villages<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: State Minister of Administrative Reforms T.B.
\nSilalahi suggests that \"super schools\" be built in rural areas
\nrather than in noisy urban centers.<\/p>\n
Speaking at a thanksgiving gathering for the various honors
\nrecently received by 29 South Sulawesi public figures on Friday,
\nSilalahi said the super schools, which cater to gifted and
\ntalented students, should provide a safe, pleasant and peaceful
\nenvironment.<\/p>\n
\"Only under such learning conditions can students learn well,\"
\nSilalahi said, naming a number of regions in the province which
\nhe said should be perfect for the schools. Among those areas are
\nMalino, Sengkang, Soppeng and Bone in Sulawesi, Antara reported.<\/p>\n
A number of super schools have been established in many major
\ncities in Java, including one in Magelang and several in Jakarta.
\nSouth Sulawesi has one.<\/p>\n
The honored community leaders from South Sulawesi included
\nState Logistics Agency head Beddu Amang, who received the
\nMahaputra Utama medal from the government. He was also recently
\nappointed president of the Asian Society of Agricultural
\nEconomists.<\/p>\n
Governor HZB Palaguna and businessman Tanri Abeng recently
\nreceived the Adikarya Pariwisata medal. (swe)<\/p>",
