        "content": "<p>Supeblocks sprouting in Jakarta<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): At present in Jakarta there are a number of<br>\ndevelopments which have been dubbed superblocks by their<br>\ndevelopers.<\/p>\n<p>According to PT First Pacific Davies, an international<br>\nproperty consultant, a superblock is a large composite<br>\ndevelopment where several uses are combined.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best examples found worldwide is Hong Kong's<br>\nPacific Place Project. Pacific Place is made up of two five-star<br>\nhotels, an apartment complex, a large shopping center and two<br>\noffice towers, First Pacific's spokeswoman Desy Mutialim said.<\/p>\n<p>She said a recent study estimated that a total of 17<br>\nsuperblocks will be developed in Central Jakarta before the year<br>\n2000. Probably the first superblock to be completed will be Kota<br>\nBNI complex.<\/p>\n<p>Wisma 46 forms the centerpiece of the Kota BNI superblock,<br>\ncomprising offices, residential condominiums and a shopping<br>\ncenter.
