        "content": "<p>The Sumedang Regency Government, West Java, aims to complete the\nconstruction of the Cibugel-Darmaraja road, spanning approximately 1.2\nkilometres, this year to improve community mobility and regional\nconnectivity.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Sumedang on Tuesday, the Regent of Sumedang, Dony Ahmad\nMunir, stated that the construction of this section is nearing\ncompletion and is one of the projects long-awaited by the community to\nsupport daily activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a road that the community has been waiting for. It is now\nalmost finished and is expected to be completed this year. Hopefully,\nthe road will be strong and durable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Dony noted that the improved road conditions will make it easier for\npeople to work, worship, study, access healthcare services, and conduct\neconomic activities more smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>With better access, Dony added, the movement of both people and goods\nis expected to become easier, faster, and more efficient, while\nsimultaneously strengthening connectivity between regions within the\nSumedang Regency.<\/p>\n<p>By 2026, the Sumedang Regency Government targets a district road\nstability rate of 89.62 per cent, an increase from the 2025 realisation\nof 87.28 per cent and the 2024 rate of 87.54 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to this road, we are also repairing the Cipicung to\nCibugel Garut section this year,\u201d Dony remarked, regarding efforts to\nexpand the benefits of improved connectivity for communities in border\nareas.<\/p>\n<p>The Sumedang Regency Government is also preparing the continued\ndevelopment of the Cibugel-Darmaraja road up to the Cibugel area, as\nwell as the gradual repair of the Cipicung-Cibugel section which borders\nthe Garut Regency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the community will help maintain the constructed roads so\nthat their quality remains preserved and the benefits of the development\ncan be felt for a longer period,\u201d Dony said.<\/p>",
