PALU, Central Sulawesi: Police captured on Monday a grave robber
\nwhom villagers say is a copycat of cannibal Sumanto after he
\nescaped from a psychiatric hospital in the provincial capital of
\nPalu.<\/p>\n
Head of the Palu detectives unit First Insp. Sabil Umar said
\npolice found 28-year old Yunus hiding in a house on Jl. WR
\nSupratman in Palu on Saturday.<\/p>\n
"The hospital escapee is being detained at the West Palu
\nPolice Station and we plan to send him back to the hospital,"
\nSabil said on Monday.<\/p>\n
Yunus escaped through one of the air ducts at the psychiatric
\nhospital last Friday. He was committed to the psychiatric
\nhospital last month for digging up the corpse of a two-month-old
\nbaby from the village graveyard. Sumanto, shocked Indonesians
\nlast January with his revelation that he ate corpses.<\/p>\n
Police say Yunus is mentally ill after he told of a voice

KENDARI, Southeast Sulawesi: Authorities here continue to search
\nfor the crash site of a burning pencil-like object, which
\nofficials mistook for the falling debris of an Italian satellite.<\/p>\n
The object was seen crashing into the forest near Mount Wani
\nin the Southeast Sulawesi regency of Muna on April 25.<\/p>\n
Witnesses described the sighting as something like a burning
\npencil falling from the sky. The sound of the crash was heard
\nwithin a radius of around 60 kilometers.<\/p>\n
"Police officers, members of the Indonesian Military, and
\nlocals have tried looking for it but haven't been successful,"
\nsaid Muna regent Ridwan on Sunday.<\/p>\n
According to the Indonesian National Aeronautics and Space
\nAgency (LAPAN), the object could have been a meteor or the
\nsatellite of another country, probably Russia, he said.<\/p>\n
He added the regency would ask for a police helicopter to comb
\nthe thick forest area around Mount Wani.<\/p>\n
The object was initially thought to be the debris of the
\nItalian satellite BepooSAX, which fell into the Pacific Ocean on

MANADO, North Sulawesi: Reporters from the North Sulawesi capital
\nof Manado and from Davao City in southern Philippines have signed
\na deal here to foster cooperation between publications of the
\nneighboring countries.<\/p>\n
The agreement was signed on Sunday by Friko Poli from the
\nKomentar daily, Dikxi from the Manado Post daily and Gill Abarico
\nof the Davao Press Association.<\/p>\n
Under the memorandum of understanding, the two sides will
\ncooperate in the exchange of information, and organize visits by
\njournalists to Manado and Davao, the second largest city in the
\nPhilippines located on southern island, Mindanao.<\/p>\n
Friko said the agreement would help build understanding
\nbetween the people of both countries.<\/p>\n
North Sulawesi is bordered by the Philippines' southern island
\nof Mindanao. The agreement followed last week's visit by the
\nPhilippine Foreign Minister Blas Ople to Manado. Ople called for
\ncloser cooperation between the two regions, in particular in the
