Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - The Sultan Iskando Muda Air Force Base (Lanud\nSIM), located in Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar Regency, has organised a\ncheap market to provide basic necessities at affordable prices.<\/p>\n
The cheap market, held to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of the\nIndonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), took place at the Blang Bintang\nDistrict Office courtyard on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The Commander of Lanud Sultan Iskandar Muda, Colonel PnB Suryo\nAnggoro, stated that the market is running for two days, specifically on\n22 and 23 September 2026, offering various essential community needs at\nmore accessible prices.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis cheap market is part of the series of commemorations for the\n81st Anniversary of the TNI and serves as a form of the TNI\u2019s care for\nthe community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He mentioned that his office is presenting various basic commodities\n(sembako) at low prices, allowing the public to obtain essential goods\nmore affordably.<\/p>\n
Several commodities are available at the market, including 5.5kg LPG\nrefills priced at Rp100,000, 3kg LPG at Rp18,000, and 5kg packages of\nSPHP rice at Rp60,000.<\/p>\n
Additionally, trays of eggs are priced at Rp48,000, one kilogram of\nwhite sugar at Rp21,000, and one-kilogram pouches of \u2018Minyak Kita\u2019\ncooking oil at Rp17,000.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn addition to these commodities, we are also providing a number of\nother essential products offered at low prices,\u201d said Suryo Anggoro.<\/p>\n
He expressed hope that the cheap market would provide direct benefits\nto the community and serve as part of the spirit of the 81st TNI\nAnniversary to continue being present and providing positive\ncontributions to society.<\/p>\n
The presence of the cheap market has been met with a positive\nresponse from the public. Residents appeared enthusiastic about shopping\nfor basic necessities at more affordable prices at the event.<\/p>\n
Syahrul, a resident of Aceh Besar, said that he and other community\nmembers felt assisted by being able to obtain basic necessities through\nthe cheap market, amidst the current dynamics of market commodity\nprices.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are helped by the existence of this cheap market. Especially\nsince the prices of basic necessities are currently experiencing\nincreases.
