        "content": "<p>Sugar smugglers arrested in Buton<\/p>\n<p>KENDARI, Southeast Sulawesi: Buton Police in Southeast<br>\nSulawesi recently confiscated two tons of raw sugar shipped from<br>\nIndia, and arrested four people.<\/p>\n<p>L.M, one of the four people arrested, was the owner of the raw<br>\nsugar.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of Buton Police Adj. Sr. Comr. Ali Pranaka said on<br>\nWednesday that the raw sugar was confiscated after police<br>\nreceived a tipoff that a ship in Bau-Bau port was carrying<br>\nsmuggled sugar.<\/p>\n<p>The police raided the ship and after investigation it was<br>\ndiscovered later that the sugar had been carried from India to<br>\nBau-Bau without proper documentation.<\/p>\n<p>The police then swiftly arrested the owner of the sugar and<br>\nthree other people who were accused of helping him smuggle the<br>\nsugar. \"The dossier has been handed over to the prosecutor's<br>\noffice,\" he said. -- JP<\/p>",
