Sudjana wins award<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Mines and Energy I.B. Sudjana and
\nState Minister of Environment Sarwono Kusumaatmadja will receive
\nSanobar awards for energy development and environmental care in
\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
Sanobar Foundation chairman, Victor Malonda, told The Jakarta
\nPost Tuesday that his foundation would also present a similar
\naward to East Kalimantan Governor G.H.M. Ardans for encouraging
\nbusiness investment in Kalimantan's mining sector.<\/p>\n
Malonda said they would receive the awards later this month.<\/p>\n
The foundation, recently appointed by the state-owned coal
\ncompany PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam as its coal bricket agent
\nin Jakarta, was set up on Mar. 23, 1994 to promote energy
\nefficiency and to encourage the use of coal bricket.<\/p>\n
The foundation -- in cooperation with the Pacific Rim Center
\nat the United States' Tulane University, New Orleans -- has also
\nestablished the Center for Energy and Environmental Technology in
