Universitas Harkat Negeri (UHN) Tegal, Central Java, is an applied\ncampus that emphasises practical-based learning. Students will gain\ndirect experience through various facilities such as teaching factories,\ncollaborations with industry, and internship programmes.<\/p>\n
This was conveyed by the Rector of UHN Tegal, Sudirman Said,\nfollowing the selection test for prospective recipients of the \u201cBeasiswa\nHarkat Negeri\u201d held at the Mataram Campus, UHN Tegal, on Sunday\n(5\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cThis campus will introduce students extensively to the practical\nworld, both through meetings with key figures and supportive\nfacilities,\u201d said Sudirman Said.<\/p>\n
Sudirman Said also emphasised that UHN is a \u201cnusantara campus\u201d that\nopens opportunities for students from various regions across Indonesia.\nThe Nusantara Scholarship programme is one manifestation of this\ncommitment, targeting high-achieving students from Papua, East Nusa\nTenggara, Sulawesi, and other areas.<\/p>\n
Sudirman Said further explained that the campus continues to\nstrengthen students\u2019 global perspectives through public lectures\nfeaturing national and international figures. This aims to provide\nstudents with a broad understanding of global developments.<\/p>\n
On that occasion, Sudirman also reiterated the importance of\nmastering soft skills in an ever-changing world. Skills such as\ncommunication, motivation, and mobilising others are considered key to\nfuture success.<\/p>\n
\u201cSuccessful individuals are those with strong determination, who dare\nto step out of their comfort zones, are capable of communicating, and\npossess vision,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n
According to Sudirman Said, UHN is committed to shaping students\u2019\ncharacter through soft skills training, field practices, and various\ncompetitions. Every week, students are encouraged to achieve in various\nfields through competitions.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe provide space for students to forge themselves into leaders\nthrough literacy, interaction, and competition,\u201d concluded Sudirman\nSaid, the former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.<\/p>\n
One prospective student participating in the selection, Muhammad\nIdzom, expressed optimism about passing the Harkat Negeri scholarship\nadmission.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am optimistic about passing and becoming a student who receives a\nscholarship from Universitas Harkat Negeri,\u201d said Muhammad Idzom.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe selection consists of academic potential tests and interviews,\nwhich are important stages in determining scholarship recipients,\u201d added\nMuhammad Idzom.<\/p>\n
The Director of Communication and Cooperation at Universitas Harkat\nNegeri, Erni Unggul Sedya Utami, stated that out of a total of 880\nparticipants, only 110 will be selected as recipients of the Beasiswa\nHarkat Negeri. Nevertheless, the campus ensures that unsuccessful\nparticipants still have opportunities to obtain other available\nscholarships at Universitas Harkat Negeri.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor students who do not succeed in obtaining the Beasiswa Harkat\nNegeri, various types of scholarships are available, including Beasiswa\nNusantara, Organisational Scholarship, Achievement Scholarship, Ranking\nScholarship, Quran Memorisation Scholarship, and Influencer\nScholarship,\u201d explained Erni.<\/p>\n
