House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Puan Maharani has conveyed a\nmessage to the new Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) following\nthe resignation of Nanik S Deyang. She expressed hope that the new BGN\nHead would be able to improve and evaluate the institution\u2019s\nperformance.<\/p>\n
\u201cHopefully the replacement will be the best for BGN and can evaluate\nand improve BGN\u2019s performance,\u201d Puan told reporters at the Parliament\nComplex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 22 July 2026.<\/p>\n
The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) politician also\nexpressed confidence that the next BGN leader would do their best for\nthe Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme going forward. \u201cI am sure it\nwill be the best for the next evaluation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
It was previously reported that President Prabowo Subianto appointed\nDeputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono as the new Head of the National\nNutrition Agency. Sudaryono will replace Nanik S Deyang. The appointment\nwas announced directly by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe President has decided that the replacement for the Head of BGN\nis Sudaryono, who currently serves as Deputy Minister of Agriculture,\u201d\nPrasetyo told reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex in Central\nJakarta on Wednesday, 22 July 2026. Prasetyo stated that Sudaryono would\nbe sworn in immediately on Wednesday afternoon. \u201cThe replacement is\nplanned to be inaugurated today as well so that the process or tasks\ncarried out by BGN do not experience a vacuum,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Former Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Nanik S Deyang,\nresigned from her position. Nanik also bid farewell to President Prabowo\nSubianto to undergo heart treatment. The resignation was announced\ndirectly by the President\u2019s Special Assistant for Communication and\nPolicy Analysis, Dirgayuza Setiawan, via his official Instagram account.\n\u201cToday, Mrs Nanik Deyang bid farewell to President Prabowo to undergo\nheart treatment and simultaneously resigned as Head of the National\nNutrition Agency,\u201d Dirga said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Nanik S Deyang, via her Facebook account, also stated that\nshe had personally said goodbye to President Prabowo Subianto.
