        "content": "<p>A scarcity of subsidised fuel has been occurring in East Flores\nRegency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), since Monday (29\/06\/2026) and\ncontinues into Tuesday (30\/06\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Observations at one of the petrol stations, SPBU 01 Larantuka, on\nTuesday morning showed long queues of motorcycles and cars stretching\nfrom early morning towards midday.<\/p>\n<p>Roni, a resident of Larantuka, admitted to queuing for several hours\nto obtain subsidised fuel. However, he was unable to secure any the\nprevious day as stocks had already run out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI arrived at 10:00 WITA, but yesterday I could not get any,\u201d Roni\nsaid while queuing at the station.<\/p>\n<p>Similar complaints were voiced by Welhamoris, a car owner, who\nexpressed hope that the petrol station would prioritise public vehicles\nover retailers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe queue is too long; yesterday I couldn\u2019t get any. Today, my car\nis at half a tank and I have to queue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Natural Resources at the East Flores Regional\nSecretariat, Tarsisius Kopong, stated that the limited supply of\nsubsidised fuel is due to the third-quarter quota from BPH Migas not yet\nbeing issued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe quarterly quota distribution to petrol stations is currently\nbeing restricted. Today, we are processing a letter from the Regent to\nBPH Migas to request an increase in the quota,\u201d Tarsisius said when\nconfirmed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Tarsisius noted that while supplies from Pertamina to petrol stations\nare being restricted specifically for subsidised fuel, non-subsidised\nfuel remains stable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe daily average is around 5,000 tonnes. Meanwhile, stocks at SPBU\n02 Lamawalang have run out. This month\u2019s allocation is indeed small, at\n128 kl,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>",
