        "content": "<p>Subdistrict chief gets two years jail<\/p>\n<p>TANGERANG: Tangerang District Court sentenced a subdistrict<br>\nchief to two years imprisonment on Tuesday for falsifying the<br>\nthumb print of a local in March this year.<\/p>\n<p>Presiding judge Satria U.S. Gumay said that defendant Abdul<br>\nNurjaya bin Mursin, 40, chief of Kiara Payung subdistrict, Paku<br>\nHaji district of Tangerang, was guilty of counterfeiting a thumb<br>\nprint in a land document, in an attempt to sell a 6,000 square<br>\nmeter plot of land belonging to Naimah.<\/p>\n<p>According to prosecutor Iwa Kusuma, the defendant sold the<br>\nland for Rp 18 million to Ajat Sudrajat, an official at Tangerang<br>\nEducational Agency who planned to construct a school building on<br>\nthe property.<\/p>\n<p>When construction of the school building began, Naimah was<br>\nsurprised to learn that Sudrajat claimed he had bought the land<br>\nsince she had never sold the plot to any other party. -- JP<\/p>",
