        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara has ensured that\nthe State Budget (APBN) deficit will be maintained below 3 per cent to\nsupport the stability of the Indonesian economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deficit will remain below 3 per cent,\u201d Suahasil stated when met\nby members of the media following her inauguration at the State Palace,\nJakarta, on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>She emphasised the importance of maintaining the health and\ncredibility of state financial management as the primary means to\nsupport various government priority programmes in a measurable\nmanner.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, a trustworthy State Budget serves as a vital\ninstrument in driving growth while simultaneously stabilising the\nnational economy.<\/p>\n<p>Suahability conveyed that Presidential instructions mandate the\nMinistry of Finance to continue maintaining accountability and\nefficiency in the use of state expenditure allocations.<\/p>\n<p>She asserted that expenditure efficiency is directed so that the\nexisting budget can produce the maximum impact for the entire\npopulation.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Suahasil as Finance Minister\nto replace Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa at the State Palace.<\/p>\n<p>Suahasil was appointed as the new Finance Minister as stipulated in\nPresidential Decree Number 97P of 2026 regarding the Dismissal and\nAppointment of Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the remainder\nof the 2024-2029 term, which was established on 14 September 2026 by\nPresident Prabowo.<\/p>",
