        "content": "<p>Study natural phenomena<\/p>\n<p>From Suara Karya<\/p>\n<p>I agree with President Soeharto's recent statement that we<br>\nshould all read about and understand the present natural<br>\nhappenings.<\/p>\n<p>The recent natural phenomena are hard to interpret despite the<br>\nuse of sophisticated equipment. Just think of El Nio, which has<br>\nnot spared Indonesia. There may still be other disasters in<br>\nstore. What we need to watch is floods in the wake of the severe<br>\ndrought, which would continue to make planting impossible.<\/p>\n<p>Soeharto has recommended a change in our staple food, so we<br>\nwould not depend too much on rice. If rice was no longer<br>\navailable, what would we do? We must prepare to overcome such a<br>\nproblem.<\/p>\n<p>Let us give adequate response to Soeharto's directives. He has<br>\ninstructed us to read and to study natural phenomena. May God<br>\ngive him physical and mental strength in leading the republic.<\/p>\n<p>I see Soeharto as a strong navigator and as a figure of the<br>\n21st century.
