        "content": "<p>Students report disruption<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: Some 50 students of the Pharmaceutical Institute<br>\n(STIFAR) lodged a complaint with the Bogor city council on<br>\nTuesday over the disruption of activities at the school.<\/p>\n<p>The students reported that the school had been closed by the<br>\nschool management reportedly due to financial constraints since<br>\nDec. 16.<\/p>\n<p>The management failed to give the students clear reasons for<br>\nthe temporary closure. It only said in a posted notice that<br>\nactivities would resume on Feb. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Dadang, a lecturer at the school who accompanied the students,<br>\nsaid school employees, including lecturers, refused to come to<br>\nwork as the management had failed to pay their salaries.<\/p>\n<p>In response to their complaint, head of Bogor City Council<br>\nCommission E Sony Sondiamon vowed to summon Darwin Jamal,<br>\nchairman of the Dynamics of the Indonesian Environment Foundation<br>\n(YDLHI), which manages the school, for clarification.<\/p>\n<p>More than 60 students, mostly from outside Bogor, study at the<br>\ninstitute.--JP<\/p>",
