        "content": "<p>Students protest against students<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG, Central Java: A number of Diponegoro University<br>\nstudents staged a protest on Tuesday to object to their campus<br>\nbeing used for the political activities of a student<br>\norganization.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters were referring to the Indonesian Students'<br>\nSolidarity for Democracy (SMID) which has organized gatherings<br>\nand demonstrations with workers.<\/p>\n<p>Alun Anshari, chairman of the student senate, told Antara that<br>\nthe students objected to SMID because it was using the<br>\nuniversity's name.<\/p>\n<p>Suharmono, a senate activist, said the gatherings held by SMID<br>\nwhile promoting the popularity of its leaders, are ruining the<br>\nuniversity's reputation.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy rector Rofiq Anwar said, after meeting with the<br>\nstudents, that SMID and its activities had nothing to do with the<br>\nuniversity.
