Students pray for friends, teachers<\/p>\n

\nin Lampeurut, Aceh Besar, were still deep in grief, with many of
\ntheir schoolmates and teachers not in attendance at the mass
\nprayer assembly the school held on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Wiping their tears in silence, students listened to prayers
\nbeing recited by a teacher, Arifin Zainal, and read from the
\nKoran.<\/p>\n
\"We pray for the students, teachers, and all the people who
\ndied in this calamity,\" school headmaster Ainal Mardiah said.<\/p>\n
So far, she said, six of the school's teachers and five
\nstudents are known to have died as a result of the earthquake and
\ntidal wave on Dec. 26.<\/p>\n
The school is still collecting information on casualties. Only
\nabout 100 of its 300 students have attended class since the
\nschool reopened three days ago.<\/p>\n
\"Although school has started, we are only giving students
\nreligious instructions until Jan. 26. After that, usual school
