Students arrested in stolen car<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Police have arrested four men, three of them
\nstudents at a private university in Cirebon, for burglary.<\/p>\n
They were caught on the Cikampek toll road Wednesday at
\nkilometer 30 in Cibitung, Bekasi, while fleeing the scene of the
\ncrime on Jl. Saleh, Cirebon, West Java.<\/p>\n
The gang had made off with a Mercedes Benz car, jewelry,
\ncompact and laser disc players, a 20-inch television and other
\nitems belonging to the burgled house's owner, an entrepreneur
\ncalled Farouk.<\/p>\n
The four were named as students Antony Sapa, aged 22, Budi
\nWahyu Sejati, 22, Budianur, 20, and unemployed Anthonius Deku,
\n27.<\/p>\n
Sapa and Deku had worked as security guards at Farouk's house.<\/p>\n
Farouk's wife, who declined to be named, said Sapa had worked
\nfor nine months and Deku for five months.<\/p>\n
Sapa and Deku had allegedly robbed Farouk's house early
\nWednesday while no one was at home.<\/p>\n
Sapa had asked Wahyu, who told his friends he was a lousy
\ndriver, to drive the Mercedes after they robbed the house. Wahyu
\nwas the only one of the four who could drive.<\/p>\n
Farouk's wife said the four had stolen 90 grams of jewelry,
\nincluding 11 grams of diamonds. (cst)<\/p>",
