The action is being staged in response\nto the current economic situation.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency, Budi\nAwaluddin, has asked the public to anticipate travel disruptions and\navoid certain roads. The protest is expected to cause traffic congestion\nin several areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoads potentially affected include Jalan Jenderal Sudirman (in front\nof the BRI Head Office), Jalan Kebon Sirih (in front of the BGN Office),\nJalan Medan Merdeka Selatan (the City Hall, Monas, and Gambir area), and\nthe UNJ Campus area,\u201d Budi said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that his agency has prepared 300 personnel at strategic\npoints, particularly in the Sudirman\u2013Thamrin corridor.
