        "content": "<p>Student may face eight years in jail for beating<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): A university student could face up to eight<br>\nyears in prison if found guilty of beating up another student.<\/p>\n<p>A lawsuit against Rifardi Rifiar, a sixth-year medical student<br>\nat the University of Indonesia, was submitted at the Central<br>\nJakarta District Court on Thursday by prosecutor Lukimanto.<\/p>\n<p>Rifiardi allegedly beat Barlian Rahmat Parulian Sitompul, who<br>\nis now suffering from numbness in his neck and legs, according to<br>\na medical report.<\/p>\n<p>Representing Rifardi is lawyer O.C.
