        "content": "<p>Student detained for throwing bomb<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Police arrested yesterday a 24-year-old student<br>\nsuspected of throwing two Molotov cocktails at the security post<br>\nof Governor Sutiyoso's official residence in Menteng, Central<br>\nJakarta, on Monday night, an officer said.<\/p>\n<p>City police detective chief Col. Gories Mere said the suspect,<br>\nidentified only as Dino, 24, was apprehended at a relatives'<br>\nhouse in Bintaro, South Jakarta, at 5 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>\"The suspect was spotted by the governor's security guards<br>\nwhen he returned to the site in the same Suzuki Escudo vehicle<br>\nfrom which he threw the Molotov cocktails a day earlier. He was<br>\ncarrying an air rifle.<\/p>\n<p>\"Soon after the guards spotted the car, they called the<br>\npolice. We followed him carefully because the guards informed us<br>\nthat he had a rifle,\" Gories said.<\/p>\n<p>Police traced the car's plate number and found the owner's<br>\naddress on Jl. Depsos Raya 24 RT 08\/01, Bintaro, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>\"From there we also crosschecked information from witnesses of<br>\nthe incident. That is why we were sure and continued the pursuit.<\/p>\n<p>\"Eventually we captured him at the house. We are still<br>\ninterrogating him,\" Gories told a media briefing.<\/p>\n<p>When asked to comment on the arrest, Sutiyoso said, \"Thank<br>\nGod... I will thoroughly relinquish the case to the police to<br>\nhandle it. I have no idea why the person did such thing.\"<\/p>\n<p>Sutiyoso said he would not ask security guards to tightly<br>\nguard his house after the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\"I have become accustomed to being threatened like that... I<br>\ndon't think I have any enemies. I have surrendered to God for my<br>\nsafety,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The police officers confiscated the Suzuki Escudo along with<br>\nthe air rifle as evidence. \"The suspect is being detained at<br>\nMenteng Police Station,\" Gories said.<\/p>\n<p>The motive for Monday's attack was still vague.<\/p>\n<p>Up until the announcement of the arrest, Dino, who reportedly<br>\nwas a Trisakti University student, had not confessed to anything.<\/p>\n<p>When asked whether Governor Sutiyoso would be questioned in<br>\nrelation to the case, Gories just smiled.<\/p>\n<p>\"Come on, he was sleeping when the incident happened,\" Gories<br>\nsaid.
