Student arrested with marijuana<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A sixteen-year-old student has been arrested in
\nTangerang's Legok district for allegedly using and possessing
\nmarijuana, police said.<\/p>\n
City Police spokesman Lt. Col. E. Aritonang yesterday said
\nthat his office had also arrested a housewife suspected to be the
\nstudent's supplier.<\/p>\n
Aritonang identified the junior high school student as Ahyar
\nSantisa and the woman as Jacqueline, 33.<\/p>\n
He said Ahyar was arrested around 2 a.m. Wednesday during a
\nroutine police roadblock to check passersby and commuters around
\nthe Jasma Indah housing estate in Legok.<\/p>\n
\"Ahyar was stopped for examination by officers while he was
\nriding his motorcycle home to the estate. While being frisked,
\npolice officers found two packages of marijuana in his shirt,\" he
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
It remains unclear why the police also charged the boy for
\nhaving consumed the marijuana.<\/p>\n
The student reportedly admitted the drugs were his and told
\nthe officers that he had just bought it from a woman near his
\nhouse, he said.<\/p>\n
Aritonang said the woman was arrested an hour later. But
\npolice found no drugs at her house. (cst)<\/p>",
