Student arrested for theft<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A high school student has been arrested for his
\nalleged involvement in the theft of an ojek (motorcycle taxi) in
\nCiputat, South Jakarta.<\/p>\n
City Police spokesman Lt. Col. E. Aritonang said yesterday
\nthat the suspect, Danan Widianto Putra, 18, was arrested Tuesday
\nnight with the stolen ojek. His alleged accomplice has not been
\nfound.<\/p>\n
\"Police detained him for further questioning,\" Aritonang said.
\n\"It is still not clear why he stole the motorcycle.\"<\/p>\n
\"There is another student, who Danan admitted was his
\nclassmate, who was also involved in the theft. He is still at
\nlarge.\"<\/p>\n
Danan, a second year student, and his friend allegedly took an
\nojek from Pasar Ciputat and asked the driver, Triyono, 35, to
\nbring them to Pondok Cabe and return to Pasar Ciputat again.<\/p>\n
The two hit Triyono on the head with a piece of wood and stole
\nthe motorbike as they headed back to Pasar Ciputat.<\/p>\n
Aritonang said that Triyono reported the case to the police
\nwhen he regained consciousness and Danan was caught not far from
\nthe crime scene.<\/p>\n
\"Danan was lost and entered a dead end road where he was
