        "content": "<p>Student advised to drop lawsuit<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG: Judge Satri Rusad suggested yesterday that the two<br>\ndisputing parties in the case of the dismissal of Bandung<br>\nInstitute of Technology (ITB) student Budhi Sumarso should seek<br>\nan out-of-court settlement before the court proceeds with their<br>\ncase.<\/p>\n<p>Budhi's lawyers welcomed the proposal saying that their main<br>\nobjective is that their client's education should not be<br>\ndisrupted by the trials.<\/p>\n<p>However lawyers for the ITB rector displayed less enthusiasm,<br>\nsaying that they would relay the message to their client. \"We're<br>\njust here carrying out their mandate,\" one of the lawyers said.<\/p>\n<p>Budhi Sumarso was dismissed from ITB earlier this year after a<br>\nfreshman student died during initiation ceremonies held by a<br>\ncommittee headed by Budhi.
