The competition to attract and retain top talent means companies can
no longer rely solely on competitive salaries. A healthy, inclusive work
environment that supports career development has become a key factor in
determining a company’s competitiveness in attracting and retaining
quality human resources. This commitment continues to be strengthened by
PT Bank Central Asia (BCA). The company has once again won the HR Asia
Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026 award, maintaining its title as
one of the best workplaces in Asia for eight consecutive years. BCA
Director Lianawaty Suwono said the company continues to build a work
environment that encourages every employee to grow, innovate, and make
their best contribution to the company. “These three awards reflect the
consistency of all BCA personnel in creating a healthy and positive work
ecosystem. This achievement is the fruit of collective effort. We will
continue to strive to provide a work environment that enables every
individual to grow, innovate, and make their best contribution, both
professionally and personally,” said Lianawaty. The HR Asia Best
Companies to Work for in Asia award is organised by Business Media
International based on employee survey results. The assessment is
conducted through three main indicators: CORE (Collective Organisation
for Real Engagement), SELF (Heart, Mind, Soul), and GROUP (Think, Feel,
Do). In this assessment, BCA recorded scores that were consistently
above the industry average. In addition, BCA also received the HR Asia
Tech Empowerment Award 2026 in recognition of its use of technology to
enhance the employee work experience. The award is given to companies
deemed successful in optimising technology to strengthen productivity,
collaboration, and work process effectiveness in supporting human
resource transformation. The use of technology is also directed at
creating more integrated, adaptive, and responsive business processes to
the changing needs of the working world, ensuring the employee
experience remains relevant amidst the acceleration of digital
transformation. These efforts have also strengthened the company’s
employer branding. This is reflected in the LinkedIn Talent Awards 2025
for the Best Employer Branding category for companies with more than
10,000 employees. The award is based on the company’s ability to build
an image as an attractive workplace, provide a positive recruitment
experience, and utilise digital platforms to reach and develop talent.
According to Lianawaty, employer branding is built not only through
public perception of the company but also through the experience
employees feel in their daily work. “For us, employer branding is not
just about how the company is perceived from the outside, but how every
colleague can feel sincerity, mutual support, and enjoy a positive work
experience every day. This achievement serves as a reminder and
encouragement for us to continue learning and improving,” she said.
Amidst the competition for the best human resources, a company’s ability
to create a healthy work culture, support competency development, and
utilise technology to enhance the employee experience is considered an
important factor in maintaining HR retention while strengthening the
company’s long-term competitiveness.
",
