The Chairman of the West Java Democratic Party, Anton Sukartono\nSuratto, conducted a working visit using a unique approach. Riding a\nmotorcycle, Anton traversed the Tatar Galuh region, from Ciamis Regency\nto Pangandaran Regency, from Thursday (27\/8) to Friday (28\/8).<\/p>\n
This touring activity was organised not merely as a routine official\ntrip, but as a means of social engagement to greet residents and listen\ndirectly to the aspirations of the people along the route.<\/p>\n
The journey began in Ciamis Regency. On this occasion, Anton met with\nthe Vice Regent of Ciamlar to discuss various regional potentials,\ncommunity aspirations, and the concrete contributions of the Democratic\nParty in driving the progress of the Galuh community.<\/p>\n
In addition to formal meetings, Anton interacted directly with local\nresidents and greeted the motorcycle community (bikers) from Ciamis\nopenly, without any protocol barriers.<\/p>\n
In the evening, Anton continued his engagement agenda at the\nresidence of a national figure from Pangandaran and former Indonesian\nMinister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti.<\/p>\n
The meeting was warm, focusing on the discussion of Pangandaran\u2019s\ndevelopment potential and the alignment of environmental care\nprogrammes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe visited Mrs Susi\u2019s house for a social visit, and alhamdulillah,\nshe received us very well. We discussed many things regarding\nPangandaran, its potential, and the Blue Sky Movement programme that we\nare currently implementing. It turns out that what we are planning, Mrs\nSusi has been doing for a long time by encouraging school children to\nmaintain sea cleanliness. That is extraordinary! This means we are\nmoving in the same direction, with one heart, to protect this nature,\u201d\nAnton stated on Tuesday (2\/9).<\/p>\n
Through this shared vision, Anton opened opportunities for closer\ncooperation in the future. He also emphasised that the Democratic Party\nis always open to anyone who wishes to serve, including the family or\nclose associates of Susi Pudjiastuti.<\/p>\n
STRENGTHENING THE BLUE SKY MOVEMENT<\/p>\n
Anton then continued his activities in Pangandaran with the Vice\nRegent of Pangandaran, H Ino Darsono, to realise the series of Blue Sky\nMovement programmes alongside residents and local party cadres.<\/p>\n
Anton emphasised the importance of political party consistency in\naccompanying the community outside of political contestation\nmoments.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is not through long distances that we get to know the people. But\nby coming, greeting, sitting together, and listening without barriers.\nThat is what we are doing here in Tatar Galuh,\u201d Anton concluded.<\/p>\n
