The State-Owned Enterprise Agency (BP BUMN) aims to restructure the\ncorporate structure of PT Pelindo (Persero) through a streamlining\nprogramme designed to strengthen its business model and clarify the role\nof every entity within the Pelindo Group.<\/p>\n
The Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stated that\nPelindo\u2019s transformation will be a long-term process. This step begins\nwith the simplification of the entity structure before proceeding to the\nrestructuring of the business model.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis transformation is still a long journey, but it begins with\nstreamlining first, after which we will enter the process of properly\narranging our business model,\u201d said Dony, quoting the official BP BUMN\nInstagram, Wednesday (30\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
Under the 2026 streamlining programme, Pelindo targets reducing the\nnumber of entities from 41 to 24. Of the 17 entities included in the\nrestructuring programme, 11 have completed their corporate actions,\nwhile the remaining six are targeted for completion by 31 December\n2026.<\/p>\n
The restructuring is being carried out through various schemes,\nincluding mergers, consolidations, divestments, and liquidations.<\/p>\n
In addition to simplifying the number of entities, Pelindo is also\nchanging its parenting model from a strategic holding approach to active\nmanagement.<\/p>\n
Through this model, Pelindo will take a more direct role in managing\ncore operational activities, with a clearer division of roles between\nthe holding company, regional offices, service lines, and business\nentities.<\/p>\n
Dony believes that this transformation can be implemented more\nintegrally through consolidation under Danantara.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe choice to undergo this transformation is very appropriate. Now,\nwith the consolidation under Danantara, everything becomes possible to\nachieve,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
