        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 Financial planner Rista Zwestika CFP WMI said that the\nholiday allowance (THR) funds can be used to pay off debt, but this\nshould be done by setting repayment priorities based on the type of\ndebt. \u2018I usually use a simple approach. Expensive debt vs.\u00a0manageable\ndebt,\u2019 Rista told ANTARA on Friday. \u2018Expensive debt such as credit\ncards, pay later, and high-interest consumer loans should be paid off\nfirst,\u2019 she said. Because it can burden finances, repayment of expensive\ndebt is advised to be prioritised higher. \u2018It doesn\u2019t always have to be\npaid off with THR. In uncertain economic conditions, maintaining\nliquidity is also important. Therefore I often share the principle,\n\u2019Don\u2019t be debt-free, but cash-strapped\u2019,\u2019 she said. In uncertain\neconomic conditions, she said, part of the THR should be set aside as\ncash reserves as a precaution. The government has issued Minister of\nManpower Circular No.\u00a0M\/3\/HK.04.00\/III\/2026 on the Implementation of the\nProvision of Religious THR in 2026 for Workers in companies. Minister of\nManpower Yassierli said that providing religious THR to workers is an\nobligation that employers must fulfil.<\/p>",
