        "content": "<p>Stockholders to sue KLSE<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (AP): The association which represents the<br>\nSingaporean holders of shares frozen by Malaysia said Saturday it<br>\nis setting up a fund to pursue legal action against the Kuala<br>\nLumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).<\/p>\n<p>David Gerald, president of the Securities Association of<br>\nSingapore, said the fund will be for individual investors to take<br>\nlegal action against the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and its<br>\nsubsidiaries.<\/p>\n<p>The association has not yet decided the kind of legal action,<br>\nGerald said.<\/p>\n<p>The shares, worth about US$4 billion, are mostly held by about<br>\n170,000 Singapore-based investors on Singapore's Central Limit<br>\nOrder Book. They were thrown into limbo when Malaysia banned<br>\nexternal trading of its stocks in September 1998.<\/p>",
