Stewardess quizzed over Munir's death<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Police investigators questioned on Friday another
\nGaruda stewardess in connection with the poisoning death of human
\nrights activist Munir aboard a Garuda flight from Jakarta to
\nAmsterdam almost eight months ago.<\/p>\n
Tia Dewi Ambari, who was accompanied by Garuda lawyers M.
\nAssegaf and Wirawan Adnan, was quizzed at National Police
\nheadquarters for six hours.<\/p>\n
The investigators mainly questioned Tia about Munir's
\nactivities aboard the flight between Singapore to Amsterdam. Tia
\nwas in charge of the economy class cabin during the flight.<\/p>\n
\"After boarding, Munir came to me and asked for a stomach
\nrelieving drug because, but I told him that I did not have any
\nand he said it was okay,\" Tia said.<\/p>\n
She said it was the only occasion he talked to Munir until she
\nlearned that Munir's stomach ache worsened. Munir was originally
\nseated in economy class, but was offered a seat in business class
\nby off-duty Garuda pilot Pollycarpus Budihari Priyanto, who has
\nbeen declared a suspect in the case.<\/p>\n
The police have also declared flight attendants Yeti
\nSusmiyarti and Oedi Irianto suspects. -- JP<\/p>",
