We have to work with the other<br>\ncountries in ASEAN to take active steps to prevent such attacks<br>\nfrom taking place,\" Tan was quoted as saying on NewsRadio 93.8.<\/p>\n<p>Tan's remarks came after more than 180 people were killed in a<br>\nweekend bomb blast on the Indonesian island resort of Bali which<br>\nIndonesia's defense minister said was linked to Osama bin Laden's<br>\nal-Qaeda network.<\/p>\n<p>Terrorism is a \"global problem\" and a strong effort must be<br>\nmounted in the campaign against terrorism, said Tan, who is also<br>\ndefense minister. --AFP<\/p>",
