        "content": "<p>S'pore oil slick cleared<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (AFP): An oil slick off the Singapore waterfront<br>\ncaused by a collision between two vessels was cleaned up<br>\nyesterday, the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) said.<\/p>\n<p>Only small pockets of oil that had been treated with<br>\ndispersants were reported by PSA patrols at four points off the<br>\nshoreline, the PSA said, adding that the leakage from the damaged<br>\nbunker barge Saybolt had stopped.<\/p>\n<p>PSA vessels would patrol the areas to treat any remaining oil<br>\npockets, the authority said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Singaporean-registered Saybolt was carrying 300 tons of<br>\nfuel oil when it collided with the Panama-registered cargo<br>\nfreighter Sun Pulse early Tuesday, causing the two square<br>\nkilometer slick.<\/p>\n<p>Some 100 tons of oil spilled into the sea after the accident,<br>\nwhich left no casualties. The cause of the collision was being<br>\ninvestigated.<\/p>",
