        "content": "<p>S'pore-Minang hotel management<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Bumi Minang Hotel has signed a management and<br>\noperation contract with Sedona Hotels Group, a major Singaporean-<br>\nbased  business group, for its hotel in Padang, West Sumatra.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel, currently under construction, will have 167 rooms<br>\nand will require a total investment of Rp 42 billion (US$ 18.9<br>\nmillion).<\/p>\n<p>The contract, according to the Antara news agency, was signed<br>\non Tuesday by George A. Hulls of Sedona Hotels Group and Indra<br>\nTaspari of PT Bumi Minang Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Head of West Sumatra tourism service Nazif Lubuk, who<br>\nwitnessed the signing of the contract, said that his office had<br>\nanticipated a marked increase in tourist arrivals in the<br>\nprovince.<\/p>\n<p>He said that 112,500 foreign tourists were expected to visit<br>\nWest Sumatra this year.(32)<\/p>",
