        "content": "<p>S'pore crash probe zeros in on cause<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (AFP): Investigators have ruled out terrorism,<br>\nweather and aircraft maintenance as possible causes of a<br>\nSingapore SilkAir jet crash that killed all 104 people on board a<br>\nyear ago, a report said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The possibility of the Boeing 737 aircraft carrying hazardous<br>\nmaterials had also been ruled out, the investigators in Jakarta<br>\ntold Television Corp. of Singapore ahead of the first anniversary<br>\nof the crash on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the possible causes had been narrowed down,<br>\ninvestigators had 12 scenarios in which the crash could have<br>\nhappened and were \"exploring various combinations of potential<br>\nmalfunctions\", the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Flight MI-185 plunged into a river near Palembang on the<br>\nIndonesian island of Sumatra on its way to Singapore from<br>\nJakarta.
