        "content": "<p>The Southeast Sulawesi High Prosecutor\u2019s Office (Kejati Sultra) has\nhanded over Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) worth Rp9.97 billion to the\nstate treasury, sourced from restitution payments in a mining corruption\ncase and the proceeds from the auction of seized assets. Head of Kejati\nSultra, Sugeng Riyanta, stated in Kendari on Thursday that the PNBP\ndeposit reflects tangible, accountable law enforcement through the\nhandling of corruption and general crime cases that have attained\npermanent legal force. \u2018The total non-tax state revenue we deposited\ninto the state coffers on this occasion amounts to Rp9.97 billion,\u2019\nSugeng said during a press conference at the Kejati Sultra Building.\nThis case was handled collaboratively by Kejati Sultra investigators\ntogether with the North Kolaka District Prosecutor\u2019s Office. The\nremaining amount originates from the payment of corruption case fines\ntotalling Rp260 million, as well as the auction proceeds of\nstate-confiscated goods and cash seized from various criminal cases\nacross several district prosecutor\u2019s offices under Kejati Sultra\u2019s\njurisdiction. He explained that several assets successfully auctioned\nthrough the Kendari State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL)\nincluded two vehicles from a general crime case handled by the Kendari\nDistrict Prosecutor\u2019s Office, which sold for Rp457.05 million.\nAdditionally, three vehicles seized from a general crime case managed by\nthe Konawe District Prosecutor\u2019s Office were successfully auctioned\nopenly, fetching Rp310.92 million. \u2018Cumulatively, when combined with\nother routine realisations, Kejati Sultra together with all district\nprosecutor\u2019s offices across the Bumi Anoa region recorded an overall\nPNBP realisation for the First Semester of 2026 of Rp11.54 billion,\u2019 he\nadded. He further noted that recovering state finances has now become a\nprimary orientation and focus within every line of law enforcement\nundertaken by the Adhyaksa Corps. According to him, this success in\nsafeguarding state funds serves as evidence that the prosecutor\u2019s office\ndoes not solely focus on repressive measures or corporeal punishment for\noffenders. \u2018This demonstrates that modern law enforcement is not only\noriented towards punishing perpetrators (follow the suspect), but also\ntowards how state assets and losses can be optimally recovered (follow\nthe money), to subsequently be deposited into the state treasury and\nreused for the benefit of the wider community,\u2019 said Sugeng Riyanta.<\/p>",
