Speaking after opening the Sultan Muda\nFair 2026 in Palembang on Monday, he said the figure demonstrates the\nhigh interest among young people in improving their capacity in\nentrepreneurship and financial literacy. \u201cToday it was conveyed that the\nnumber of Sultan Muda participants has reached more than 10,000 people,\nprecisely 10,334 people who have registered,\u201d he said. He stated that\nthe regional government, together with the Financial Services Authority\n(OJK) and various stakeholders, continues to encourage the improvement\nof digital financial literacy among young people as preparation for\nfacing technology-driven economic developments. Therefore, young people\nwho understand digital finance are expected to be able to create new\nbusiness opportunities, thereby contributing to regional economic growth\nwhile reducing unemployment. \u201cWe listened to a presentation on the\nimportance of preparing our greatest asset, which is young people who\nunderstand the digital world, especially in relation to financial\nliteracy,\u201d he said.
