"summary": "South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has warned that the ongoing Iran war and tensions in the Strait of Hormuz will sustain high oil prices and disrupt global energy and raw material supply chains, urging the government to bolster its emergency response systems. He directed ministries to swiftly implement a supplementary budget for economic support, including aid for crude imports, anti-hoarding measures, and financial assistance to affected companies, while pursuing alternative supply chains and industrial restructuring as national priorities. Efforts to secure new energy sources involve diplomatic missions to countries like Congo, Algeria, Libya, and Kazakhstan, alongside adjustments to electricity pricing to optimise solar usage and interest from Middle Eastern producers in using South Korea's storage facilities.",
