        "content": "<p>Seoul (ANTARA) - Online sales of automobiles and car accessories\nsurged by 31.1 per cent in South Korea, amidst increasing online\npurchases of various models from the American automotive manufacturer,\nTesla.<\/p>\n<p>Online demand for mobile devices rocketed by 37.5 per cent following\nthe launch of new smartphones, while demand for food and beverages, food\ndelivery services, and household appliances saw single-digit growth.<\/p>\n<p>Online transactions for cosmetics, agricultural products, and\ncomputers recorded double-digit growth, whereas transactions for\nclothing and sporting goods experienced a single-digit decline.<\/p>\n<p>Online transactions for electronic coupon services increased by 5.4\nper cent, amidst the continued strong trend of sending gifts, such as\ncoffee and cakes, via electronic coupons.<\/p>\n<p>Shopping via smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices increased\nby 6.4 per cent year-on-year to 19.57 trillion won in July, accounting\nfor 78 per cent of total online shopping transactions.<\/p>",
