        "content": "<p>Despite being overshadowed by central government budget efficiency\npolicies, the South Kalimantan Provincial Government has assured the\nacceleration of several priority infrastructure development\nprojects.<\/p>\n<p>The priority infrastructure projects in question include the\nconstruction of the Pulau Laut Bridge connecting Tanah Bumbu Regency and\nKotabaru\u2019s Pulau Laut, valued at nearly Rp5.9 trillion, the construction\nof an international stadium in Banjarbaru worth Rp1 trillion, and the\ncentral axis road connecting Banjarbaru City to Tapin Regency at Rp600\nbillion over 30 kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday (30\/3), South Kalimantan Governor Muhidin witnessed the\nsigning of the Pulau Laut Bridge construction contract in the hall of\nthe South Kalimantan Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) in\nBanjarbaru. \u201cWe are ensuring the realisation of infrastructure\ndevelopment in line with our vision and mission. Although there are\nbudget savings, we have Rp2 trillion in silpa funds, which is sufficient\nto support the 2026 development programme,\u201d stated Muhidin.<\/p>\n<p>The contract signing was between Bambang Asmoro and Yusdiantoro of\nthe Joint Operation Cooperation (KSO) and the Head of the South\nKalimantan PUPR Service, Muhammad Yasin Toyib, as the budget user. The\ntotal Rp5.9 trillion construction budget is through a multi-year scheme\nand sharing between the State Budget (APBN), Provincial Regional Budget\n(APBD), and the Regional Budgets of Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru\nRegencies.<\/p>\n<p>The annual budget sharing portions are Rp100 billion borne by the\nTanah Bumbu and Kotabaru Regencies, Rp550 billion by the South\nKalimantan Provincial Government, and Rp1 trillion by the Ministry of\nPublic Works, over the next three years.<\/p>\n<p>The Pulau Laut Bridge, targeted for completion in 2028, is expected\nto improve inter-regional connectivity in South Kalimantan, accelerate\nlogistics flow, and drive economic growth. The total length of the\napproximately 3,750-metre bridge features a main cable-stayed span of\n350 metres and a width of 24 metres. The construction of the central\nspan receives funding from the central government amounting to Rp3\ntrillion.<\/p>\n<p>The work will be carried out in stages (physical work starting in\nJanuary 2026) and is targeted to be completed in 2028, involving several\nmajor contractors, namely PT Adhi WSKT KSO (2025-2028), PT Hutama Karya\n(2025-2026), PT Pembangunan Perumahan (2025-2026), PT Asri Praya KSO\n(2024-2025), PT Pandji Bangun Persada (2024-2025), and PT Adhi Karya\n(2015-2017). The planning parties are PT Pemetaan Engineering System\nKSO, PT Anugerah Kridpradana, and PT Widyadaya Bandaran.<\/p>\n<p>Witnessing the signing of this project were the Director General of\nRoad Infrastructure Development of Public Works, Rakhman Taufik, Tanah\nBumbu Regent Andi Rudi Latif, and Kotabaru Regent Muhammad Rusli.<\/p>",
