        "content": "<p>The South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency (Dishub Jaksel) has\nrecorded 1,337 enforcement actions for traffic violations within the\nregion from January to May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese enforcement actions are part of our efforts to maintain\ntraffic order and increase public discipline while driving,\u201d said the\nHead of the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency, Bernad Octavianus\nPasaribu, when contacted in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Bernad stated that the actions were carried out through monitoring\nand traffic enforcement operations to create order and reduce vehicle\nviolations on the highways.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the Operational Control and Traffic Section of\nthe South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency, the most frequent type of\nenforcement involved 547 cases documented via the agency\u2019s official\ninspection reports (BAP).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, there were 379 enforcement actions against public\ntransport, 205 tyre removal operations (OCP) for motorcycles, 146\nwarning letter-based towing actions (SP), 32 tyre removal operations for\ncars, 21 towing actions based on inspection reports, and seven tyre\nremoval operations for bajajs.<\/p>\n<p>Bernad noted that enforcement was directed at vehicles violating\nregulations, such as illegal parking and public transport operational\nviolations.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, April 2026 recorded the highest number of\nenforcement actions, reaching 425 cases. This figure comprised 99\nmotorcycle tyre removals, 12 car tyre removals, 47 warning letter-based\ntowings, 11 towings based on inspection reports, 141 inspection report\ncases, and 115 public transport enforcement actions.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, January recorded 275 cases, February 282 cases, March 124\ncases, and May 231 cases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to increase supervision at several high-risk\ntraffic violation points in South Jakarta, including high-density\nvehicle areas and illegal parking locations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bernad also urged the public to comply with traffic regulations to\nensure mutual safety and comfort on the roads.<\/p>",
