Jakarta (ANTARA) - South Jakarta Mayor Syafrin Liputo said his\nadministration will set up subsidised housing administration posts at\ndistrict and urban village level to ease data verification for the\ndistribution of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP),\nensuring it reaches all individual housing service providers (PJLP)\nacross South Jakarta accurately.<\/p>\n
He expressed appreciation to BP Tapera for providing relief through\nthe FLPP scheme, which gives all PJLP the opportunity to obtain housing\nthrough FLPP financing, with additional support from Bank Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, we will establish posts in all 10 districts and 65 urban\nvillages to facilitate the data verification needed so that FLPP\ndistribution can be precisely targeted to all PJLP within the South\nJakarta Administrative City,\u201d he said in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
He also thanked the President of Indonesia and the Minister of\nHousing and Settlement Areas (PKP) for the Three Million Homes Programme\nfor PJLP in South Jakarta, the first step of which will see around 210\npeople in the Tanah Kusir area receive the housing financing liquidity\nfacility.<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, we hope it will not stop at 210 people, but that all PJLP\nwithin the South Jakarta Government area receive the facility \u2014 there\nare around 5,000 more people. And of course we will fully support this,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
Syafrin is confident that given all the housing challenges in\nJakarta, such as steadily rising prices, subsidised facilities are\nessential.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope our joint efforts can be realised before too long. With the\nThree Million Homes Programme, the target is that by 2029 all PJLP will\nown their own homes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He further stated that the regional government has issued\ninstructions and is ready to support the initiative.<\/p>\n
For context, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional\nDevelopment Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) has said the housing sector\nis one of the national development priorities, with wide-ranging effects\non improving public welfare.<\/p>\n
According to him, collaboration across ministries, regional\ngovernments, financing institutions and the private sector is key to\naccelerating the provision of quality, affordable housing.<\/p>\n
