        "content": "<p>Solok Regency has received Rp144 billion in Regional Transfer support\nto accelerate the rehabilitation process. Health sector realisation is\nthe highest at 91 percent of an allocation exceeding Rp6 billion. The\neconomic recovery sector follows with budget absorption of 57 percent\nfrom a total allocation of Rp45 billion. However, realisation in the\neducation sector has only reached around 6 to 7 percent. The\ninfrastructure sector has also only reached 6.7 percent of a total\nbudget allocation exceeding Rp88 billion. According to Head of the\nNational Post for the PRR Task Force Wahyu Bintono Hari Bawono, the low\nabsorption is due to the unfinished process of adjusting unit prices in\nthe Budget Plan. \u201cUnit price and budget plan adjustments must be\ncompleted immediately. The remaining time in the fiscal year needs to be\nutilised with discipline because this infrastructure budget is directly\nlinked to restoring connectivity and public services. We encourage\nprojects to enter the procurement stage immediately so that residents\ncan quickly feel the benefits,\u201d Wahyu said in a written statement on\nSaturday (15\/8\/2026). Wahyu made the remarks while reviewing\ninfrastructure repairs, provision of permanent housing, and food\nsecurity strategies for residents on Thursday. The PRR Task Force is\nalso paying attention to the relocation needs of 259 affected families\nin Solok Regency. The Solok Regency Government is urged to immediately\ncomplete the submission for an additional 199 new housing units to the\nMinistry of Housing and Settlement Areas. They are also asked to\naccelerate the legality of utilising 50 Fishermen\u2019s Flats units in\nNagari Muaro Pingai for affected residents. Handling of remaining\ndisaster sedimentation in Sungai Sawah, Nagari Junjung Sirih, needs to\nbe strengthened to prevent water overflow from damaging agricultural\nland. The PRR Task Force will coordinate support for providing heavy\nequipment directly with the Ministry of Public Works. Meanwhile, the\nregional government is required to continue river cleaning, emergency\nnormalisation, and provision of transitional bridges. Turning to Solok\nCity, flash floods and landslides in late 2025 affected 2,978 families.\nThe disaster caused massive damage to 14 kilometres of roads, 11\nirrigation network points, 292 MSME facilities, and four drinking water\nsystems. As a permanent solution, the Batang Gawan and Batang Lembang\nflood control project worth Rp170 billion has now entered the tender\nphase. In addition, saving 115 hectares of affected rice fields is now\none of the most urgent agendas in Solok City. Damage to embankments and\nhigh sediment deposits are considered to be severely disrupting water\nsupply to residents\u2019 agricultural land. In response, the PRR Task Force\ntogether with the Solok City Government are preparing an emergency\npumping scheme swiftly. Support for reserve seeds and procurement of\nlarge-scale water pumps will be consolidated with the Ministry of\nAgriculture to prevent the risk of crop failure. The PRR Task Force is\ncommitted to continuing strict assistance to all relevant regional\ngovernment levels. Cross-ministerial consolidation will also be overseen\nuntil the entire recovery process in the Solok area is fully\ncompleted.<\/p>",
