        "content": "<p>A truck was hit by the Soekarno-Hatta Airport train at the level\ncrossing near Poris Station in Batuceper sub-district, Tangerang City.\nAirport train operations have been temporarily suspended until the\nrecovery process is complete.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCommuter line airport services have been temporarily closed until\nthe infrastructure has been declared safe for passage. KAI is focusing\nall resources on accelerating the restoration of the line so that\nservices can resume in stages,\u201d said KAI Vice President of Corporate\nCommunication Anne Purba to reporters on Friday (20\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Anne explained that all passengers had been evacuated. There were no\nfatalities in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSafety is our top priority. All passengers have been safely\nevacuated and there were no casualties in this incident,\u201d Anne said.<\/p>\n<p>KAI, Anne added, would pursue legal action in accordance with\nprevailing laws and regulations. The company extended its apologies for\nthe disruption to a number of services caused by the accident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe extend our apologies for the inconvenience. All recovery efforts\nare being carried out intensively so that services can return to normal\nas soon as possible,\u201d Anne said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traffic Diversions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Police have also implemented traffic management measures at several\npoints intersecting with Jalan Maulana Hasanudin. Congestion was\nconcentrated at the Poris crossing point and did not extend to toll road\nroutes or the direction of the airport.<\/p>\n<p>The following traffic diversions were put in place:<\/p>\n<p>From Jakarta (Jl. Daan Mogot) towards Cipondoh: Diverted at the\nAmpera three-way junction, directed via Jl. Jenderal Sudirman towards\nJl. KH Hasyim Ashari.<\/p>\n<p>From Cipondoh (Jl. KH Hasyim Ashari) towards Daan Mogot: Diverted via\nJl. Benteng Betawi towards Jl. Jenderal Sudirman.<\/p>\n<p>From Jl. Benteng Betawi towards Jakarta: Diverted via Jl. KH Hasyim\nAshari \u2013 Gondrong traffic lights \u2013 Jl. H. Mansyur \u2013 Jl. KH Ahmad\nDahlan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Truck Dragged 100 Metres<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Raden Muhammad Jauhari\nexplained that the accident occurred at approximately 06.05 Western\nIndonesian Time. It began when a trailer truck was travelling from the\ndirection of Cipondoh towards Daan Mogot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the railway crossing barriers were in operation, the vehicle\nentered the railway tracks. The truck cab had already cleared the\ntracks, but the container body was still on the crossing,\u201d Jauhari said\nin a statement to reporters on Friday (20\/2).<\/p>\n<p>Jauhari said the incident caused the trailer truck to be dragged\nseveral metres from the initial point of impact at the crossing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was dragged approximately 100 metres from the railway crossing,\u201d\nhe added.<\/p>",
