        "content": "<p>Soeharto stamps get the chop<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG, West Java: State-owned postal company PT Pos<br>\nIndonesia will no longer print stamps bearing the image of former<br>\npresident Soeharto, head of the company's philately division<br>\nMulyanto said here yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>He said the stamps would no longer be printed as Soeharto had<br>\nresigned from the presidency.<\/p>\n<p>Mulyanto expects stamps bearing Soeharto's face to increase in<br>\nvalue, adding that it was also a \"business opportunity\" for his<br>\ndivision given the stamps marked-up value.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the company had received many queries from<br>\nabroad asking about purchasing such stamps.<\/p>\n<p>Some five million stamps bearing Soeharto's image have been<br>\nprinted since 1984 with a nominal value of between Rp 150 to Rp<br>\n700.
