        "content": "<p>\u201cAs of today, the digitised registration for Family Hope Programme\n(PKH) and the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) programme has been in\noperational in 153 districts and cities across 38 provinces,\u201d he said in\na statement received here in Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The president made the remarks during his State of the Nation Address\nat the People\u2019s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Annual Session and the Joint\nSession of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional\nRepresentative Council (DPD) in Jakarta, on Friday (August 14).<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Prabowo\u2019s SOE amnesty idea aims to push governance\nreform: Minister<\/p>\n<p>According to him, over three million families have signed up for the\nprogrammes, moving toward the target of 49 million registered families\nand representing more than 50 percent of Indonesian households upon full\nrollout.<\/p>\n<p>Prabowo also emphasised the social protection must become better\ntargeted, easily accessible, and delivered with greater dignity, thereby\nprompting the government to digitalise registration for both the PKH and\nthe food assistance initiative.<\/p>\n<p>President Prabowo noted the digitalisation also cuts costs and saves\ntime for low-income communities seeking social assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Ministry backs Prabowo\u2019s green agenda for public\nprosperity<\/p>\n<p>Previously, underprivileged families spent an estimated Rp150,000 on\ntransportation, documents, photocopies, and lost wages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, registration is completely free of cost.
