        "content": "<p>Kupang (ANTARA) \u2014 Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul)\nnoted positive progress among students at Kupang People\u2019s Junior High\nSchool (SRMP) 19 following over nine months of learning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe students appear more confident and optimistic about the future,\nreceiving the necessary support in their education,\u201d Gus Ipul said\nduring the President\u2019s Priority Program Collaboration Event for Building\nHuman Resources Towards Economic Independence, held in conjunction with\nthe National Elderly Day (HLUN) 2026 themed \u2018Resilient Elderly, Growing\nIndonesia\u2019 at the Eltari Hall of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Provincial\nGovernment Office in Kupang on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He added that these achievements were supported by various\neducational facilities, including structured lessons, nutritious meals,\nlearning technology, libraries, and laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis programme enables children from the poorest families\u2014those\npreviously out of school, never attended school, or dropped out\u2014to\naccess education,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Chief Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti also\npraised the SRMP 19 Kupang students, stating that the progress of\nchildren from the lowest income deciles was commendable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMinister, I have attended People\u2019s School events multiple times, and\neach time the students\u2019 performance moves me deeply. Knowing they come\nfrom the lowest income brackets yet shine so brightly and have\nremarkable future aspirations is truly impressive,\u201d Amalia said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that the use of the National Social and Economic Single\nData (DTSEN) system in student selection has made the People\u2019s School\nprogramme more targeted towards impoverished families, expressing\namazement at their transformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw how the children have transformed. I observed the before and\nafter; the before was like this, but the after is what we witnessed\ntoday,\u201d she explained.<\/p>",
