        "content": "<p>The MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition (LCC Empat Pilar) at\nprovincial level in North Maluku, held at the Gamalama Ballroom of the\nBella Hotel in Ternate City on Friday (24 July), ended on a sweet note.\nSMA Negeri 8 Ternate City was confirmed as provincial champion after a\ncontest that was legitimate, fair and nerve-racking.<\/p>\n<p>The victory ensures the school will represent North Maluku at the\nNational Final of the MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition in Jakarta in\nAugust 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Gunardi Ode Samura, one of the students on the team, admitted that\nthe title won by SMAN 8 Ternate City was exhausting, as its two\nopponents in the final, SMAN 2 East Halmahera and SMKN 1 Ternate City,\nproved extremely difficult to overcome.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy teammates and I thought at one point there was no hope, because\nall our opponents were very clever. However, we were determined to fight\nto the best of our ability to finish the competition, whatever the\nresult,\u201d said Gunardi, quoted on Saturday (25 July).<\/p>\n<p>Faudjiah Fatmona, the supervising teacher at SMAN 8 Ternate City,\nsaid her students\u2019 success was the fruit of a disciplined learning\nprocess. She said the students had prepared by intensively and very\ndiligently studying the material on the MPR RI\u2019s Four Pillars and MPR\nDecrees.<\/p>\n<p>Regional Government Gives Support<\/p>\n<p>The provincial-level MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition in North\nMaluku also received attention from the North Maluku Provincial\nGovernment. The Deputy Governor of North Maluku, Sarbin Sehe, attended\nin person to watch the competition and even read out one of the\nquestions during the Four Pillars Insight session in the preliminary\nround.<\/p>\n<p>The competition was also marked by a moment when one of the\nparticipants lodged a protest against the judges\u2019 decision during the\nbuzzer session in the third preliminary round. The organising committee\nand the panel of judges then accommodated the request by playing a\nreplay of the recording, witnessed by representatives of the\nparticipants and the North Maluku Provincial Education Office, before\nreaching a final decision.<\/p>\n<p>The step demonstrated the organisers\u2019 commitment to upholding the\nprinciples of fairness and transparency throughout the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The Acting Secretary General of the MPR RI, Siti Fauziah,\ncongratulated SMAN 8 Ternate City on becoming provincial champion.<\/p>\n<p>Ibu Titi, as Siti Fauziah is affectionately known, stressed that one\nof the keys to success in the MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition is\nprecision. According to Ibu Titi, participants must listen to the\nquestion in full before giving their answer so as not to misinterpret\nits meaning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t rush to answer. Sometimes the question hasn\u2019t finished being\nread out but it\u2019s already been answered, and it turns out the intent of\nthe question was different. This is where precision matters, not just\nintelligence,\u201d said Ibu Titi.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to determining the main champion, the organising\ncommittee also presented Best Chant awards to SMAN 1 Tidore Kepulauan in\nthe first preliminary round, SMAN 1 Pulau Taliabu in the second\npreliminary round, and SMKN 1 Ternate City in the third preliminary\nround.<\/p>\n<p>For information, the event was also attended by the Head of Senior\nHigh School Development at the North Maluku Provincial Education and\nCulture Office, Ismail Idris, the Head of the Planning and Finance\nBureau of the MPR RI Secretariat General, Triyatni, and the Head of the\nGeneral Bureau of the MPR RI Secretariat General, Herry Putra.<\/p>",
